SUB51 Release EDG-20 retro drum module

UK based sample library developers SUB51 have just released their new EDG 20 drum module library based on the legendary Linn LM series of drum machines.

You can hear the Linn drum sound used on many eighties tracks, and particularly on the Human League’s Dare album where the machine was very much to the fore, and went on to cross generes into electro and hip hop, the punchy kick sound is unmistakable earning it a well deserved place in the beat box hall of fame.

The new library works in Kontakt 5.8.1 and above (not Kontakt player) and also has it’s parameters available and assigned for use within Komplete Kontrol when scanned into the user side of the plug-in.

Boasting 25 kits and a further 71 tempo synced loop presets (with companion midi files), the available KK mapping provides extensive controls for level, pan, delay, reverb, various lofi and bitcrush fx, filtering, tuning and attack/release controls for Kick & Snare, to enable users to readily create their own unique kit sounds.

With it’s small data footprint of under 119mb, the 24bit, 44.1Khz library makes a great addition to any vintage toolbox!

EDG 20 is currently on intro offer and costs just £14.96 (reg £19.95).
