Free NKS Pack Now Available For Spitfire Audio’s Free Labs Libraries…
I am Pleased to announce that a chap on the Native Instruments forum has made NKS packs available for all of the Spitfire Audio free Labs libraries, which use Spitfire’s own bespoke plugin and is normally completely inaccessible.
I have already thanked him for his work on the forum last night, so now he is aware of how valuable his work might be to us, he may well continue to support and update his NKS packs as new libraries become available.
I have also recently been in touch with Spitfire Audio regarding how seemingly more of their products are opting to use their own plugin rather than Kontakt, in the hope they would make them for both platforms, which they tell me is not likely.
They did confirm that they plan to introduce NKS support for products that currently are only offered via their designated plugin, however they did not offer a timescale for this.
The Spitfire Labs free libraries can be obtained via their website, the procedure involves downloading and installing their own software management application, which on Windows I found to be partially accessible using OCR, but is certainly not ideal.
Libraries are added to this by clicking on the ‘GET’ link on the relevant Labs page.
I will place the NKS pack into the Komplete Kontrol dropbox for users to grab, but for convenience the link is also below.
