It’s time for the fourth release in The Free Orchestra series!
This month’s TFO let’s you play an epic, 8-player French horn section, recorded in the beautiful environment of the Symphobia concert hall. The instrument layers a marcato and staccato articulation. Play shortly, and the staccatos will sound. Hold a note longer, and the rounder marcato articulation will trigger. This makes TFO #4 perfect for playing grand, heroic themes.
**Dedicated Kontakt interface**
TFO #4 once again features a dedicated Kontakt interface with a set of useful controls to adjust the envelope, reverb, filter and other elements of the instrument. TFO #4 also offers a Stereo control to widen or narrow the stereo image of the samples. The Free Orchestra does not come with a Kontakt Player license and therefore requires the full version of Kontakt. All Free Orchestra patches have been formatted for Kontakt 5.6.8.
**Open sample pool**
Heroic Horns comes with an open 44.1 kHz/24 bit sample pool. This means that you can directly access the wave files and use them on any platform that can handle wave files. Example are Ableton, Cubase, Pro Tools, FL Studio, HALion, Falcon – or your old hardware or Eurorack sampler.
