PLUGHUGGER RELEASE THE COIL 2 FOR OMNISPHERE 3 WITH NKS SUPPORT
Plughugger has just released The Coil 2 for Omnisphere 3, which is a sequel to one of their first ever Omnisphere libraries The Coil.
As previously reported, Carl at Plughugger has now begun adding NKS support for his sound sets recently, starting with the Arturia Pigments Undervoltage Drift pack.
once the process was established, he moved on to look at Omnisphere, starting at the beginning with The coil.
Inspired by the original, he decided to rekindle that early creative spark and ended up coming up with a whole new preset pack utilising the new content found within Spectrasonics Omnisphere 3.
Plughugger said of The Coil 2:
“The Coil 2 is an electric soundset for Spectrasonics Omnisphere 3 built entirely around the sound of a high-voltage Tesla Coil.
The sound of the Tesla Coil combined with Oberheim filters in Omnisphere 3 is simply staggering”.
If you do own the original Coil, then a free update with the additional NKS presets is available, but otherwise The coil 2 is an all new sound set.
