ROB PAPEN QUAD 2 NKS SUPPORT IS ON THE WAY
Rob Papen synth fans will doubtless be aware that the new Quad 2 synth was released recently, but sadly at the time of launch there was no NKS presets to accompany it.
I have spoken to Rob today, who has confirmed that he was actually working on the Quad 2 NKS support quite literally as we spoke.
As well as the usual core controls, he has confirmed the inclusion of the ARP section is being added with ‘Step On/off’. ‘Tune per step’, Velocity per step’, and ‘Free setting per step’.
This is always a much appreciated feature with any soft synth, as it does mean the ability to program or edit your own note sequences and riffs, not just the more common arp scales etc.
Watch this space for news on when the NKS support drops, in the meantime here is a look at some of the Quad 2 features and sounds:
Quad 2 is available as a part of the excellent value Explorer 11 bundle, which includes many instruments and effects, all of the instruments do have NKS support, with Quad 2 joining very soon!
