NEW NKS LIBRARIES
NKS Library: Toontrack Superior Drummer 3
This has been a much requested library for many years but has been a difficult one to develop for for several reasons and has basically taken the month to test and develop but we now have
approvals from Toontrack to release this and hopefully it is a useful addition to your NKS library.
This library allows browsing of all factory kit presets with sound previews and the option to load either the single stereo output or multi-channel output version of the kit into your DAW project.
Each custom preset template offers control over the kits mic, bus, panning and tune controls as well as any pre-mapped macros.
It should be noted that while every effort has gone into making this as useful as possible there are limitations as to how much integration NKS can offer for this plugin. While it allows loading and adjustments of the volume/pan/tune parameters of each kit piece overall limitations of just 100 macro parameters means there is a limitation on how much can be set to control and in many cases, the current level of control requires over half the available macro slots so this will not be able to offer full/deep control but any suggestions if possible to improve the current integration will be considered.
There are plans to also generate support for SD3 expansion kits and possibly EZD kits if demand is there, it will very much depend on feedback and demand for which kits receive NKS support so please let us know via the Contact Form. These presets are rather difficult and time consuming to make since every kit and every preset is completely different so if there is not enough feedback or demand we may not continue adding further support.
NKS Library: Roland Zenology Collection
Due to requests I have added options for the Zenology NKS libraries to now offer bundles for the Model Expansions, EXZ and ZEZ sound packs as standalone options along with the existing Factory and Full Bundle options.
For those that own just the ZEZ sound packs you can now get the NKS library files that just cover these libraries. Upgrade discounts are now also added automatically to allow upgrading from any of the separate bundles to the full bundle.
UPDATES NEWS
This month has been focused on getting Superior Drummer 3 NKS compatible but there is a lot of work also being done in the background on many other libraries.
Soon there willbe releases and updates for UVI, Roland, GForce and many others still on the to do list and based on feedback from users, we will be looking at expanDing NKS compatibility for Toontracks more so please be sure to let us know what you want to see in that regards.
