NATIVE INSTRUMENTS RELEASE FREE MASSIVE X PLAYER EDITION
This has been under a press embargo for a couple of weeks, but today it has finally lifted and all can be revealed, so you can now go and grab yourself a free copy.
Essentially if you do not already own the full version of Massive X, then this is a player version that comes with a bunch of presets, and you then have the option to add new preset packs as and when you wish, just like the way Kontakt player, and Reaktor player work.
It has been added to the free Komplete Start software package, so is ideal for those just starting out on their musical adventures.

Existing Massive X owners are not left out in the cold, there is also a 1.6.0 update available within Native Access, with some new presets and improvements, but I have not yet investigated whether this translates across to any improved NKS support.
