Sounds great right?, Well, never look a gift horse in the mouth, in reality Odin 2 probably won’t change your life, but Mercury from the NI user forum has also done a decent job of mapping parameters, and there is a reasonable amount of presets including some third party banks to explore.

Beyond the NKS mapping, if you bring up the parameters in your DAW, there is a 16 note sequencer which you can program, and that’s a nice little feature seldom made accessible in the majority of synths.

Odin 2 is open source, you can sign up to the developers newsletter, and give a donation if you like it, but it is possible to simply download and use it without opting for either.
