With their tongue very firmly planted in their cheek, Impact Soundworks yesterday released Shredder, which runs in Kontakt player and has NKS support.
Continuing the April Fool vibe, Shredder plays on their name of the Shreddage Guitar, Bass & Drums series, but with a foley based twist.
The library puts you in charge of your own Shredding machine, allowing you to process all manner of items through the cleverly designed user interface.
Paper, Envelopes, CD’s, Receipts, Guitar Picks, guitar Strings can all become victim to your latent Shredding fantasies!
There are controls for Source, Multi-Shred, Microphone Perspective, Fuzz, Tone, Pulse, Rate, & Reverb Space.
It’s all great fun, and has to be one of the most elaborate fun foley libraries out there, and all for free, or a small donation if you wish!
