NATIVE ACCESS 2 RECEIVES A LONG AWAITED UNINSTALL OPTION
One of the most popular requests for the Native Instruments product manager has been an uninstall facility.
Now, in a recent update the feature has finally been implemented, making it easier to remove libraries from your system.
As outlined in a Q&A session earlier this year, it will allow users to remove products from their setup, however as far as we know it only covers core sample libraries, exceptions being applications, plugins, and third parties content.
On Windows this has previously already been achievable using the Windows own ‘add or remove programs’ control panel where installed products are listed, but for MAC users this has not been quite as transparent.
The uninstall option can be found on a per product basis, and is the top entry in the ‘more options’ menu found in each title.
Once done, the product is removed from the installed list, and becomes an entry in the ‘available’ list, but the sample folder will otherwise effectively be removed from your drive thus freeing up space.
