Freelance Soundlabs Latest NKS News – June 2021
Just a couple of NKS news items this month from Jason at Freelance Soundlabs.
Gforce M-Tron Pro
M-Tron Pro is an emulation of the legendary Mellotron, the tape-based keyboard heard on recordings by such artists as The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, Oasis, Trent Reznor, Trentemøller, AIR and Nils Frahm
Finally available from Freelance Soundlabs is Gforce M-Tron Pro NKS library. This contains the main factory library plus the freely available expansion “tapes” from Gforce all made up into convenient banks with full detailed sound tagging, controller map etc…
This took a while to tag as there is limited info to pull so much had to be done by hand and the reason only the factory library is available at the moment but all expansion tapes (including the newly released Streetly 6) will be available depending on how popular this one is, the more interest the faster I will do the expansions otherwise they may be delayed in favor of other instruments I have on the chopping block

Arturia Analog Lab V Update
Analog Lab V has had some changes in regards to the new custom FX slots (FX A/B) and the macro mapping, seems many did not like the new way Arturia chose to do it and it was changed.
All NKS presets have been updated to reflect these new changes and a new controller map has been created that should reflect the actual GUI control a bit better.
Users can download this new version free but as always Donations are always appreciated
Just login to your account and download the latest from the User > My Downloads > Arturia menu
To update you simply need to delete the existing Arturia preset folder and replace with the new one, rescan your library and that should be it. No need to update/replace the database files. The NKS Library version in the properties box in Komplete Kontrol should display 2.5.8 if you have the latest.
