This Roland TR909 plug-in has a great discount at the moment, and can be picked up for the bargain price of £25.21 ex VAT at VST Buzz, the current price at Plugin Boutique being £85.00!

I can testify to the quality of this plugin as I still have my original TR909 from 1984 here in the studio, which looking at the prices on ebay is somewhat of an investment piece now!

They have done a great job in replicating the original controls including the tuning and decay parameters of what is actually one of the first analog digital hybrid machines released by Roland.

You will need to also pick up the NKS pack from Jason at Freelance Soundlabs for this to work under Komplete Kontrol, however Jason has done a splendid job of the mapping with all of the controls being available.

He has also included multi out presets, so you can easily have a separate drum sound on it’s own track.

This machine was a classic house and trance anthem beatbox and can be heard on hundreds of dance tracks, and still has it’s own dedicated fanbase out there judging by the memorabilia also on ebay!
